On November 5, 2023, a splendid ceremony took place in Gangtok, Sikkim, where Kenei Ritse, representing the Beauty and Aesthetics Society of Nagaland (BASN) and the Miss Nagaland Organization, achieved a remarkable victory by claiming the prestigious title of Miss Northeast 2023.
The second edition of the Miss Northeast pageant was graced by the presence of Sikkim’s Chief Minister, who not only attended the event but also served as the host, as reported.
This esteemed competition featured titleholders from all eight northeastern states who showcased their beauty, elegance, and talent, captivating the audience.
Adding to Nagaland’s pride, the reigning Miss Nagaland, Hikali Achumi, won the title of “Miss Beautiful Smile” during the competition. It’s worth noting that Kenei Ritse’s journey to the Miss Northeast crown was further adorned by her previous achievement as Miss Phek 2022.
