Negotiations and Summons: Arambai Tenggol’s summoning of all elected Meitei legislators for discussions on safeguarding the community heightened tensions. The subsequent demands, including the NRC for Manipur and the abrogation of SoO agreements with Kuki militant groups, were discussed with a team of negotiators sent by the Union Home Ministry.
