Grace Taiga Biography
Mrs. Grace Taiga, the ex-Director of Legal Services in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources, who is involved in the alleged fraud case concerning Process and Industrial Development Limited (P&ID) before Justice O.A Adeniyi of the Federal Capital Territory High Court in Abuja, had the EFCC present its fourth prosecution witness during the proceedings on Monday.

In September 2023, reports indicate that Taiga passed away due to kidney disease. Her burial is scheduled for December in Delta State, as mentioned in the report. Taiga, who served in the Ministry of Petroleum Resources and the defense sector before her retirement on September 1, 2010, was prominently featured in the ruling of a London court.
This ruling nullified an $11 billion award against Nigeria in a case brought by P&ID. Judge Knowles determined that the award had been obtained through fraudulent means and that the proceedings in the case violated public policy.
