President Bola Tinubu has given his approval for the appointment of Ahmed Galadima Aminu to take on the role of Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF). This appointment will be for an initial term of four (4) years. Ahmed Galadima Aminu most recently held the position of General Manager of the Education and Training Department at the Petroleum Technology Development Fund.
The outgoing Executive Secretary / CEO, Bello Aliyu Gusau, has applied for retirement and is set to begin a 90-day pre-retirement leave from September 26, 2023. In light of this, the President has instructed Ahmed Galadima Aminu, the newly appointed Executive Secretary / CEO of the PTDF, to serve in an acting capacity until he officially begins his new four-year term on December 26, 2023.
